WHAT DISCOUNT DO YOU OFFER STUDENTS?
Brooklyn Bedding offers a 25% discount to all eligible students—applicable to all purchases, both online and in-store.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Brooklyn Bedding has partnered with SheerID, an advanced digital identity company that provides an online credential to active students to access exclusive offers and benefits.
SheerID defines an eligible “student” as an individual actively enrolled in an accredited, government-recognized public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) based in the United States that grants degrees or certificates.
HOW IS MY DISCOUNT APPLIED?
Shop BrooklynBedding.com or any of our Brooklyn Bedding stores, select your products, then verify your eligibility during the shopping process using the appropriate Student discount button on the checkout page. Once your eligibility is confirmed, the 25% discount will automatically apply to your entire shopping cart.
HOW DO I VERIFY MY STATUS TO RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT?
Load all of your product selections to your shopping cart, then simply click the appropriate Student button on the checkout page. If not instantly verified, SheerID will compare the information provided in the uploaded document(s) against the information entered in the verification form. To ensure a speedy and successful verification, please pay attention to how you enter your information on the form so that it will match what is seen on the document(s). For example, enter your first and last name on the form as it appears on your school document(s).
WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENT(S) DO I UPLOAD IF ASKED?
You’ll need to upload school-issued documentation that shows your:
- First name
- Last name
- School name
- Date showing current enrollment
Please note that we will be reviewing the date of enrollment, not the print date or view date. For example, your transcript may have been printed yesterday, but it shows that your most recent enrollment in classes was a previous term. Future terms are also not accepted, meaning acceptance letters would not prove current enrollment. Please be sure to redact any details not needed for identification purposes.
I JUST UPLOADED A DOCUMENT. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF MY REQUEST?
Documents are reviewed in the order received. You will be contacted via email within the next 20 minutes with additional details regarding your verification request. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see an email in your inbox. The email will let you know if you’ve been successfully verified or if additional information is needed to complete your verification.
I’M UNABLE TO TYPE MY SCHOOL INTO THE BOX OR SELECT IT FROM THE DROP-DOWN LIST. WHAT DO I DO?
If you’re unable to type your school into the box or if your school isn’t on the drop-down list then you would not be eligible for the offer at this time. To make sure you’re not missing your school, please type out the full name. For example, rather than UO, type University of Oregon.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T PROVE I’M A STUDENT?
This is extremely rare. Eligible US academic institutions provide multiple forms of official documentation that we can accept (e.g. class schedule, tuition receipt, transcript). In the event that you cannot provide acceptable proof of current student enrollment, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But to repeat, if you're enrolled in an eligible US school, you should have access to a document we can verify.
HOW DO I KNOW YOU WON’T SELL OR SHARE MY ID AND INFORMATION?

IS THE STUDENT DISCOUNT AVAILABLE IN BROOKLYN BEDDING STORES AS WELL AS ONLINE?
Yes, the 25% Student discount is applied at checkout when shopping in our stores. You may present your credentials at the time of purchase, or work with an in-store associate to digitally verify your eligibility using SheerID.
WHAT KIND OF IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO VERIFY MY ELIGIBILITY IN STORES?
Acceptable forms of identification for students include a current student ID card or documentation proving the student is currently enrolled in classes and qualifies for the program.
If none of the required identification is available at time of purchase, our store associates can work with students to verify eligibility using SheerID.
CAN I COMBINE THE STUDENT DISCOUNT WITH ANY OTHER OFFER?
The 25% Student discount cannot be combined with any other promotional codes and cannot be applied to gift card purchases.
